Homework: Thursday, 18th September

This week I would like you to read a chapter from a book, or an article from a newspaper, magazine or website. It can be about anything (so long as it is appropriate), but try and make sure it is at least a few paragraphs long and contains some interesting words.  

I would then like you to write down in your green vocabulary books any words you come across. We're looking for words which are either completely new to you, or that you recognise but are not quite sure of the meaning of and would struggle to spell if they were dictated to you. If you then bring the book back to school, we can have a look at them in class. Aim for between 5 and 10 words.
